chicken shawarma and pita bread

Ingredients

1 lb (4 large thighs) boneless skinless chicken thighs
1 onion
1 tbsp shawarma spices
2 tbsp olive oil
salt
pepper


Directions

- debone the chicken legs and chop the meat into small pieces
- Peel and chop the onion
- Put in a dish with olive oil, spices, salt, pepper and mix (preferably with hands)
- Cover the chicken with plastic wrap and marinate in the fridge for several hours (all day if possible)
- Pour the chicken into a skillet and Saute, first on high heat then reduce heat and let cook slowly about fifteen minutes

Serve with Pita bread (recipe here)
